LONDON, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) — The London stock market ended lower on Tuesday with the FTSE 100 index down 29.57 points or 0.56 percent at 5,285.77 points.

The index was dragged lower by early declines on Wall Street after higher than expected U.S. producer price rose.

British Airways was one of the biggest losers. Its shares fell 2.2 percent as investors calculate the potential cost of the 12- day strike during the Christmas period.
